Britax Recall

Britax has issued a recall for the Wizard, Marathon and Husky car seats. The straps may slip and cause the harness to loosen. They will automatically send you a replacement part if you sent in your registration card. They recommend testing the straps by pulling on them.

Yes, I was surprised to hear this today when I visited BRU to purchase a second Marathon for Dad's car.

I recently purchased my Marathon last month and have yet to receive a letter from Britax. I registered my seat on-line.

I got my letter from Britax in the mail today for our Marathon (bought late 2003), saying the new harness would be arriving separately soon. I know I wasn't 100% sure we had sent the registration card in for it, so it was good to get this notice at least. So other Britax owners should keep an eye out for letters this week, probably give them a call if you don't see one.

For some reason I can not open the letter. How frustrating! I own two of them both registered and no letter as of yet. One bought in 2003 and another in 2004. Could someone private email me with it on word??
This may be a silly question, but I am concerned for my two children.
