I have a Arctic Cat Marathon which has to be replaced due to being in the *second* car accident. (short story is that we were rear ended from a complete stop and since the car that hit us was undriveable and Logan was in the car seat at the time, it doesn't count as a "minor" accident and the seat should be replaced. Everyone is fine, just a few neck braces on the grandparents.)

So, I want to get a different cover, but I want something as soft as Arctic Cat. Has anyone seen the Cowmooflauge on the Marathon, is it exactly the same as the old one on the Roundabout? What about Foofy, what fabric is that, it looks like denim on the website? Has anyone seen the new Ashley Floral in person? What else is plush and velvety like Arctic Cat?

Foofy is definitely NOT soft...cute as the dickens, but not soft...denim and cotton/poly. Freedom is NOT soft either, and doesn't wash well.
Eeeeek! Ashley floral is SOOOOOOO Cute! I wish I knew! LOL.
Mauvelous...very soft, very girly, might be only on older seats, though (if it's hard to find, it might be a year-old seat), Handful/Faux Paws are totally veloury.
I think the cowmoo is the same on all seats, and it is very soft and durable. The "microdots" are all totally soft, and the minty green cover at Target is not quite as plush as their plush covers, but plusher than stormy or colonial blue.

Sorry to hear about the crash...I'm glad it was more annoying than painful :(

I was coming here to say Arctic Cat but I see you want something new :) I think the closest comparison is the micro dots. Is there a store in your area where you can test them out? We have a local baby store here that has all the belly pads on a ring so you can compare each one.
