Marathon and crotch clips click

Is this normal? I bought a Marathon recently. One of the clips makes a nice snick noise when inserted into crotch latch (or whatever you call it), but the other clip just slides in and connects. Right Start says this is normal, but sure seems peculiar to me.

For all you Marathon users: do both your clips make snick noises when inserted?

Yep. This has been discussed before, and it seems that most of us have the same experience.

Only the second one clicks. You don't get a click when you insert the first tab. This way, you KNOW that both are engaged when you hear the click - if one slips out before the second one goes in, you won't get a click and know that something is wrong.

Great little safety feature, IMO.

It's supposed to be that the second side (doesn't matter which side but the second) would have the clicking noise -- not the first. You can test it by switching side to hear the clicking noise on the second harness side.

I have wondered this since I purchased mine over a year ago. Mine does the same thing. Thanks everyone for clearing up this mystery for me too!

Our Wizard does this, too, and I have always wondered about it. Now that its been explained it makes perfect sense!
