Hi! I got my Marathon and was wondering if the seat can be in the upright position if it is rear facing. The directions seem to say it's okay, but then on a website recommended here, it says to put it at a 45 degree angle for better airway positioning. My DS is almost 3 months. He seems to prefer being upright. I'm confused. Thanks for your help in advance!

I would call Britax to verify whether you can install it in the upright position. You might find that when he's sleeping, his head will flop quite a bit that way, though.
45 degrees is the maximum recline for newborns, but it's fine for older kids, too (see the link in my sig, my 4yo's seat is still 45 degrees, since that's how it installed easiest).
You can adjust your seat's angle with the tether a fair amount (here's a page with more info on that http://www.angelfire.com/wa3/isakswings/ratetherrf.html ) so if he wants to be more upright, loosen it, and if more reclined works, tighten it.
Remember that if your seat was manufactured before 8/9/04, to call Britax and make sure they are sending you a new harness adjuster strap for the recall.
