Not sure if it's time to switch to a convertible

Hi,
I'm not sure if I can still get away with the Snugride. DD was 25 1/2 inches at her 6 month appointment (about 1 1/2 months ago) and currently she still has about 1 1/2 inches from the top of her head to the shell of the seat. Is that the only rule of thumb that I should be using to determine if she can still use the seat or is there something else I'm missing?

You're pretty safe with that top of the head being no closer than one inch to the top of the seat rule :). But I think it's time to do some serious seat shopping soon, so you can get a good deal on the convertible seat you love.
