The connector strap is too short to go around the post of the passenger seat and I can't get to the seat track (where I have the MA tethered in our Accord). I feel like the seat is in there pretty well, but I think it would be more secure if it were tethered to something.

I have had bad experiences getting car seat installations checked and so I'm hesitant to do that again. One time they used the wrong side for the locking clip and actually broke it and the police department ended up buying us a brand new seat (since the one they were installing had never even been used I wasn't satisfied with just getting a replacement part from Britax).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I have an '00 CR-V and I tether to the driver's seat track using the D-ring connector.

Try just moving both the front seats forward and really digging around down there. If you've managed it in your Accord, then you probably are deft enough to find something that works in a CR-V...hmm...I can't remember what I've tethered to in a newer body style CR-V, specifically, though, sorry! :(
