Where DOES that Perma Book belong in the Marathon?

We've got this going on in another thread, but since I took such a nice photo of it this morning, I wanted to share what the foam and book are intended to look like under the cover of the MA:

Oh, it's that curvy-thing under the foam on the right hand side. And yes, my seatsaver IS folded in half under my seat and really grubby :P (of course, my seat installs just as tightly WITH and WITHOUT the seatsaver, so I feel comfortable using it ;) )

That explains the gap in the foam on that side. Mine MA came with the Perma-book laying flat on the seat under the comfort foam. I guess I should move it.

BTW, the book isn't so perma really, I slipped off the elastic to read it and then slipped it back on. Did that change? I've read of people cutting it off and wondered why they'd do that when can detach it so easily.

Oh brother! Call me one of the dummies who cut it off! Mine was just hanging there when we got it & we couldn't figure out where it was supposed to go, so off it went! Oh well, at least now I know where to store it! lol
