I can't get either side locking clips on the MA to work. I get the MA so tight and it doesn't budge. Then when I go to put the lock clip on one side I can't. One side the seatbelt is in the way and on the other there is a button on my seatbelt that happens to be right where the tightest point is. The lock clip won't close on that side either. I don't know what to do! It's a 2001 Toyota Corolla.

Oh, those darn buttons :P

It really takes many, many practice shots to learn those lockoffs... since your seatbelts lock, just do that (you know, pull the shoulderbelt all the way out slowly and let it ratchet back in).

I don't think you'll have a problem just locking your belts and leaving the lockoffs unlocked.

Mine don't stay closed either!

I took the seat out (had to switch back to my regular vehicle) and I think I actually broke them ... They're very loose - they don't even click shut without a seatbelt anymore. But even without them closed I get a SUPER tight fit - so I just have it like that without the clips.

I think I may just go contrary to the CR hype and use the LATCH for it again ... the MA LATCH is SOOO easy!

Can you get new locking clips for it, by the way?

I would TOTALLY use LATCH if I could...like the new Safe ride news says, the front seatbacks pretty much end all the overrotation concern altogether (the test bench looks nothing like a car, really, unless you have a van with no middle row and you rf your seats all the way in the back row)
