So I packed up the kids for BRU to try out convertible carseats. I really thought I wanted a RA or MA but I'm on the cheap side and thought I'd see what I thought of the Triumph and others in Cons Reports.
I spent 40 min trying different seats on their car bench-what a great idea!! Hands down-the Roundabout and MA were the easiest to install PROPERLY and I liked the harnesses better-esp the MA.
I really thought the RA would be fine at first but at 7 mos he's very tall and I didn't see him lasting in it nearly as long as I hoped. He can be in the MA almost forever LOL
So thank you all for encouraging us to try them out and see what we like.
Whoever said the best one is the one you can PROPERLY INSTALL is soooo right. I really shudder at the difference in how tight I could get the MA compared to what I can do with his current infant seat. I'm ordering the MA TONIGHT!
