I am in need of a convertible seat becuase my four month old is about to outgrow her infant seat (such a waste), but we just got a new car and I don't know what would work best with it. Does anyone else have a Ford Explorer. I am considering a Britax Marathon, but I don't want to spend all that money if it won't work in our car. HElP!

You can go to Babies R Us or wherever and ask them to let you try the floor model in your car.

If it fits, then go home and buy it online where you can find it for at least $50 cheaper.

We have a Marathon in our Explorer right now. The Explorer should be big enough to accommodate any seat, especially if the Marathon fits.

We have a Wizard which is exactly the same size as the Marathon and it fits great in the middle seat of our 2003 explorer. We use the seatbelt for install since there are no LATCH anchors in the middle. great fit!
