Installed in a Subaru Outback Wagon behind the driver's seat, rear facing.
I reclined the seat the entire way but the angle did not look right because the seat sort of angles down. I folded a toweland out in underneath the car seat near the front of it to make back seat alittle more level before I out the car seat on it. I latched the seat in pretty tight but I felt I needed to tether it to something because it seemed a bit wobbly. I found a thick bolt that is located on the botton of the back seat where the car seat is on. It is a very thick bolt and seems pretty stable. It also helps to stablize the car seat and I think it puts it at a better angle.
My wife wanted me to check with you to see if what I did sounds ok.
