I bought one of those First Years rear window sunshades that stick on with suction cups. Mine never ever stays on for any decent length of time (usually falls off after a few minutes). How do you keeps yours on? Or, what do you use to keep out the sun? (other than tinting, that's not in our budget right now)

Thanks!

If the shade is rigid, it is a safety hazzard. If it comes off during a crash, it can hit your baby or you in the head/face/wherever. I use the static cling shade that smooth onto the window. I have to re-smooth every month or so, but that's it.

We use the static cling shades--I bought mine at Target--they came in a two pack. We sprayed a bit of water on the window and then stuck the cling shade on...they haven't budged for over a year now!!

If so I also use it in my rear window and it works great, I do get the suction thingies wet before stickin' them on the window. I hope you can get it figured out ~ it's working great for us.

Mine is on the side minivan windows and can somehow tolerate the doors opening and closing (I swear they are going to come off every time the door opens, they get all caught up on the sides!). You have to lick the suction cups to get them to stay on ;)

Ours never stayed on - we finally threw it out. No amount of moisture in the cups made it stay. At the time, we had a Honda Civic - with a severely angled back window, which may have been part of the sticking problem.
