I want a nice booster for DS (almost 5.5) he rides in a WZ in my car but he rides around in so many cars it's crazy. So what would you buy?

Have you seen this page? http://uccomama-ivil.tripod.com/ I of course adore my PW's, but am wondering if I need a couple of Young Styles, too... I hear the seatbelt can be a touch harder to buckle in the YS than the PW, but not hard at all, just different, for the kids who own both. I hope threerugratz or uccomama can chime in on the sturdiness of the YS... I like the PW for moving from car to car, and it stands alone, but it has possible issues with the quality of the headrest mechanism (I know a few people who've returned them, broken, and gotten new seats free).

Julie is right the Young Style is a bit harder to buckle, but both of my children (who use boosters) aged 7 and 5 can do it. The Young Style is a great booster and is just as easy to move from car to car as the Parkway. I really think it boils down to which one you like the look of best. I do think the Young Style "feels" a tad more sturdy and the design is such that the head rest doesn't extend so high, but that doesn't mean it doesn't fit taller children, although I think in might be .5 inch shorter in the back than the PW. The ET neck look of the PW isn't so appealing to me and when the back is fully extended, it does feel somewhat wobbly and it does leave the shoulders more exposed. Having said that the PW is an awesome booster, it really is so easy to use.

Thanks, Deborah... I'm still trying to decide if my new car NEEDS new Midnight Flash YS's or if my Express PW's are good enough ;)

Deborah ~ comparing the Style to Sport in booster mode ~ my son is just over 40 lbs (somewhere between 41 & 42 lbs) which one makes a better/safer booster ~ I'm thinkin' the Sport (by looking at them) ~ but is the $100 price jump worth it??

Sports, or do you mean Starts? (my kids are huge, lol)...which would be easier to buckle with three across (probably a roundabout or profile in the middle)????

Good question. I do prefer the Sport as a booster. I love how it encloses the child so well, it really supports all the important areas well: head, shoulders and hips. But you are spending $100 more for the harness you are not going to use. How old is your son? If if he is four or even five, it might be worth the extra $ because you will get plenty of use out of the Sport as a booster. Then there is always the Start. I love, love, love this booster for big kids. The footrest is a must have, but then you are really talking $$$. If you have a kid to pass it on to, then it isn't so bad as the Start does not expire and in Germany the average life span of the booster is 11 years.

ETA: I just re-read your post and your DS is 5.5 (same as mine). I can tell you I will be using the Sport as his main booster, not the Style.
