Ok, so we had a vomit incident on our way home from PA Monday and I had to pull the cover off the roundabout and wash it. I don't know what on earth I did, but I put everything back together and I seem to have screwed something up. There's basically no tension in the shoulder straps, I can pull them right out. It seems like the yoke in the back should be attached to something because it keeps moving down when I try to tighter the straps? The britax manual is useless and I did a search here and got zilch.

Does anyone have any advice. I really need to be somewhere by 1 and don't feel the seat is safe as is (it's our only seat, and yes I know I should have done this earlier, but I'm not feeling great and am doing the best I can).

thanks!

did you re-attach the straps to the metal yoke? they are supposed to hook on to it....um... did you take the straps out of the base on the bottom? Were you stuck at home all afternoon????
