I have one and I love it! No complaints at all. It's easy to use and I am very glad to have it.

When I put the code in for free shipping, it will not apply it. Were you able to use both codes to get to $80.95?

I'm a babycenter.com member so it always takes the shipping off automatically when I spend over $50. But it should take it off for a purchase of over $75 for non-members. I C&P'd this off the website:

Simply enter coupon code 22104795 at checkout

That's the code but then you can't use the 10% off since it is only one code that can be applied. That explains why yours was cheaper since you are a member, I didn't realize that!

I guess I'll just get it anyway since it was only $5 or so dollars more. I just hate spending it if I can get it cheaper.

Can anyone tell me if they have to take the travelmate off at airport security checks (I know it only takes a couple of seconds, but just wondering), as the carseat runs through those metal detectors?

No, you do not have to remove it for security. If the whole thing does not fit through the X-ray machine they will hand check it.
