DS#2 needs to move out of his snugride NOW which means we need 2 new seats. Currently we have 2 Marathons (one in each car), and I was planning on buying 2 more... but DS#1 is 2 1/2 31 lb/36 inches - could he fit in one of the Recaro seats that has a harness? Might that be a better option that buying the Marathon now and then boosters later? We've spent so much $$ on carseats (we also have 2 roundabouts for my parents/inlaws cars) that I want to be sure I'm making the right decision here.
Thanks for your help!

I'm gathering that the Recaro Young Sport really is a nice seat... I know three moms using it harnessed who have had no real complaints about it :).
www.recarodealer.com and dealer code "SHOW" will get you a pretty good price (ok, honest? maybe not..but does it WORK? Yes ;) )

Julie,
Do you have a sense of the relative size of this seat compared to a marathon? are they any more low-profile? Thanks so much for the code info!

The Recaro Young Sport is lower than the MA, I have a BV which is the same shell and height.

If you go through the links on my webpage that Julie linked you will see a photo of my DS in the Young Sport and in the "Harnessed Seats" page sitting in the same car in the same position in a BV.
