It might be in my daughter's closet, but she's asleep right now and I don't want to rifle through her closet and wake her up.

We're going on a plane trip and will be using our Cosco Touriva. I don't remember how to install it. :( This will be the first time that it's installed forward-facing and, actually, I don't even remember how to install it rear-facing either b/c we last used it 11 months ago.

I checked Cosco's web page and they have some instructions, but say that if you're looking for car seat instructions to fill out a form and they'll get back to you! Does anyone know where I can find the instructions on-line?? I really hope I can find the directions tomorrow...

Put the harness in the top slots (there's been discussion about whether the middle slots are ok, and generally there's more votes for "only the top slots are reinforced for front facing installation"). Put the recline foot down (so it's sticking out, not flush with base as it would be for RF). Run the seatbelt through the front facing belt path (there's pictures on the side on stickers of what it looks like with lapbelt or lap shoulderbelt...or use LATCH). Put your knee and weight in the seat, and pull the seatbelt tight. Clip and tighten the top tether (oh man, that top tether is a pain in the rear...let me see if I can find a picture of how to tighten it...here.. on this page, scroll down http://www.cpsafety.com/articles/lockincss.aspx )

Give it some practice before you go so you can see if you hit any snags...honestly, it's a very easy seat to install, you shouldn't have a problem....I'll see if I have a manual if you have any weird issues, though.
