DS is 27 months old and still rear facing in our Marathon. Im planning on turning him forward in the next few months. What I need to decide is if I should keep him in the Marathon and get another Marathon for our new baby (due in May) or if I should get DS a Husky and give the Marathon to the baby?

thoughts?

How about a Recaro Young Sport...depending on how heavy your older kiddo is, of course...it's a combo seat that harnesses (with a quality harness and TALL top slots) to 40 pounds, then becomes a booster to 80, and it's tested for side impact protection. May's a long way away, and are you going to use an infant seat first? You may have a long time to decide on new seats, including the Regent (new Husky), Young Sport, Profile (www.mightytite.com) or the www.safeguardseat.com (though secretly, I think the Young Sport has the best side impact protection, so if 40 pounds is a long way off, I might favor IT ;)
Deborah has a very nice review of it here http://uccomama-ivil.tripod.com/id14.html

DS is about 30 lbs right now. All of my kids outgrew the infant carrier around 4 months (they weighed 20-24 lbs by then lol). Im just trying to figure out what I want so I can plan how much I need to save (and see if one of the grandparents will treat us lol).

Definitely considering another Marathon, a husky, a regent....will also check out those other ones you mentioned!

I also want a new booster for my 5 yr old (she is in a Eddie Bauer high back booster using the car seat belt)

Ooh, the Parkway or Graco Turbo are excellent booster choices for a 5 yo...how's that EB fitting her? Is the lapbelt nice and low, touching the thighs? Is the shoulder strap touching her chest/shoulder and lying nicely in the middle of her collarbone? I was never happy at all with the fit of my Cosco booster (Eddie Bauer IS Cosco, same seat shells...), so I always like to make sure others are finding they fit properly (mine really rode up on my kids' tummies... :( )
