Question for techs? or anyone from Canada

Hi,
I was noticing on the cpsafety page that Graco cargo boosters go almost to 50 pds. with a harness in Canada. Just wondering why the same seat we have here goes past 40 pds. there. I have the same seat and was wishing because it has such high top slots that it would go to a higher wt. limit. Thanks

Aren't they lucky up there? (except that the flipside is, their Marathons only go to 48 pounds, because of how their laws are written).
Anyway, they HAVE to top tether seats up there. It's way easier for seats to pass higher weight testing with a top tether (and I hear there's also a thin extra layer of foam behind the head, but I'm not sure if that's true or why it makes any difference).

So Graco combo/harnessed boosters go to 48, Evenflos to 47, Marathons to 48, and Cosco can't quite pull it together enough to pass anything above 40 pounds.
