The president of our club sent out a plea for newsletter submissions. Since I'm new to the group, I wrote back asking if they ever had anything about car seat safety.

The president wrote me back saying they were having a police officer come to our meeting next month! Okay, so I'm immediately suspect of this officer and his/her training and skills, but it is my golden opportunity to share some info prior to this person coming.

So, I need to write a short newsletter article ASAP. I don't even know where to start! I'm thinking of just focusing on extended rear-facing. Give me all your favorite links! Any other info that I shold be sure to include?

TIA!!

I think there are often misconseptions that the more expensive a seat is the safer it is, you could say something about the safest seat being the one that is age, height, weight appropriate and that the safest seat is the one that is installed and used properly every single time.

I don't know if you are all of the same income level in your moms group, so if you covered this it would maybe make those that don't have a ton of money to spend on the top of the line seat feel better about the fact that there seat is just as safe.

I don't know if what I am saying is making sense so feel free to ignore me if it doesn't make any sense. LOL!

Meg,

That makes total sense. I love the way you phrased it!
