Can anyone recommend a car seat that will fit, rear facing for now in the back seat of a 2000 VW GTI?
Our 5 month old daughter has outgrown her Graco infant snug ride and we're looking for a recomemndation on what will fit into this small backseat. Carseatdata.org didn't really help... It's OK if the passenger seat has to go all the way forward...

Thanks in advance!

If you can push the front seat all the way forward, then anything will fit back there :). It's a nice flat back seat that fits most car seats easily, really.
If you DO ocassionally want someone in the front seat, then a nice small Roundabout or Cosco Scenera or Evenflo Triumph would be your best bets (they are all the shortest-backed seats...just depends on your budget and the safety features you want, but they are all safe when used properly).

Anyway, not much help here, but I don't think you'll have a problem fitting whatever seat you like back there :)

Thanks Jules!

So if we got the Roundabout, we could even have a passenger in the front seat?

Do you think a Marathon would fit or am I puishing it now?

TIA,
Evie

Well, a very upright Marathon and a front passenger with short legs, probably, but it's not going to be a luxury ride, lol! (the MA really doesn't take up *much* more space than the RA... it's one of those things you kind of have to test out personally to evaluate, though :P )
