In a few months, we will need to purchase convertable car seats. And I was wondering if a Britax Marathon will work well in a 2005 Camry?

Should be fine unless you or DH are really tall?

A good resource for car seat compatability is www.carseatdata.org. It lists most cars and how people have found the fit rf, ff, center, outboard, etc. I think its worth checking out.

DH and I have a 2002 Camry (the lst yr of redesign). It is only kind of cramped if an adult sits in the back with DC. DH and I take this car on long trips and I have to sit with my left arm on the Marathon (I am not a big person--5'3" 115 lbs.) There is plenty of leg room up front though. The seat fits in nicely rearfacing and tethered as well.
