I'm about to have child number two and plan to use my snugride for this baby as well, but would really like to change the cover and canopy. An clue where I can purchase a replacement cover?

You will have to enter your model number and serial number to get a parts list. You won't have a choice of colors, though, it is either the original pattern or potluck if they have run out of the original.

ETA: Click on Customer Service on the lower left, then choose order parts. You may need date of manufacture rather than serial number.

Hi.
I don't know how you feel about used items but even though you are not supposed to purchase a used car seat people still have them cheap at yard sales. I looked until I found a new looking one in a pattern I liked(She had an 11lb baby), bought it for 15$ and, voila, instant spare cover and canopy. We don't use the seat but I felt the price was well worth it for the spares (DD spits up alot and often and I change the cover until we get home).

That's not a bad idea, actually... they might even be on ebay (*real* graco covers, of course, not some cutesie thing someone else made...).
Buying direct from Graco costs about $65, including shipping (might also be a new harness...I worked with a mom who said that, anyway)...might as well just buy a newer seat with the higher limits, at that price!
