It's not made by britax...and I wouldn't want to compromise the safety of the seat, but Dallin would LOVE a thomas cover!

Technically no, since the cover won't meet the flame resistance standards proscibed for carseats and because of the whole after market products not being advisable.

That said, I do know CPS Techs that have custom covers similar to this on their Britax seats. I love my Funky Denim so much it has never crossed my mind.

Who??? No, seriously, I do know one tech who has a Spiderman cover...it turned out to be *horrible* quality, so it looks like the pits, but her DS loves it.

I have some embroidery on my Husky cover... the Britax rep at a conference said that was a great idea to personalize a seat.

But the covers go through so much rigorous testing at the Britax facility, hold up so well, and there are enough cute ones to choose from, that I like them best... I just wanted some little pink flowers on my plain blue Husky, and they are SO cute!

Well, not you!!!

I am liking the embroidery idea a lot.

I wonder if this Ebay seller is the same crazy lady who was pretending to sell ACTUAL "rare" "one-of-a-kind-prototype" Britax covers where the labels had been removed from a Britax and sewn onto the fake?

You raise a good point - I can't see the themed fabrics at JoAnns holding up to the rigors of cheerios and dirt and general toddler mess like the Britax covers do so safety concerns aside, it might not be worth the $$$ in the long run!

Yeah, that was a different seller who pulled the 'pretend to be real' Britax cover....oooh, she's a sneaky witch, that one (sold an ancient Renolux and called it a new Graco!!!!).

Embroidery totally rocks! You can pick among a zillion patterns... Trains, trucks, flowers, you name it, as long as it fits in the embroiery machine holder, it can be done (even a personalized belly pad is totally cute and cheap).

Ok, I sound like a salesman, never mind me, lol.
