I remember reading somewhere that you cannot install a car seat in the center seat of a Blazer. My FIL has one as a business vehilce, we're up visiting for the weekend and plan to use the Blazer tomorrow, my kids and I would sit in the back, I'd put my 5.5 DS in an outboard seat in a HBB, I'd sit in the other outboard seat and install a RF'ing Scenara for DD in the center (lap belt only), is this OK? If not ~ why not, BTW the Blazer is a '00-02 model.

TIA ~

It's not safe to use any form of child restraint in the middle. The seat belt anchors are placed too close together and a child restraint in that position is at high risk to fail in a crash. Even if the restraint seems to fit really well. Since the middle doesn't have a head rest and a lap only belt. It is basically a 4 passenger vehicle IMO.

I know a lot about this, since I worked for a Chevy dealer and had to deal with irrate Blazer owns and GM Canada. Sorry if I sound harsh. I'm still bitter about it.
