All of a sudden I see them on a lot of online sites. I definitely like the look, but how do they perform? I am in the market for new car seats for my dad's car and was thinking to get 2 more Marathons. But I would try the Recaros if they are just as safe. And if they fit better in my XC90 then the MAs might have to go to grandpa. There aren't many posts on them so I'm assuming a lot of people haven't had a chance to use them yet? What do our techs think of these seats?

The first three people I know really, really like the Recaro Young Sport (harnesses to 40 pounds, then *great* booster)...and they must be very special gals, because no one else seems to love them quite as much....but they certainly are a NICE seat (I'm glad to have *something* to recommend besides Graco Cargos and Evenflo Generations! lol)
This is the best review, so far...http://uccomama-ivil.tripod.com/id14.html www.kids-in-the-car.org might have some pictures (I don't go there much, but she has a lot of pictures and TWO Young Sports, there is bound to be something there!).

As for safety, yes, very...particularly in that they are tested to contain the head in the wings in a side impact crash, like the Wizard or Boulevard or Parkway are.
