new infant car seat question

hi--

i have a almost 12 month old who is in th ebritax companion- she is about 18 pounds abut i think about 28 inches- she seemslike she is almost done with it- anyway- i saw that there are going to be new infant car seats coming out that are going to be bigger?
which ones?
i would love to keep her in teh infant car seat longer as since the winter is coming i love to have her bundled up before we leave the house- even already...

The new seats all go to 22 lbs. and 29 inches, the same as your companion. You'll have to get a convertible!! You have until your babe is less than an inch from the top of the shell though...

Since you have till 22 pounds and 30 inches or till the top of her head is even with the seat (or possibly the tips of the ears? Check your manual, this seat is different from others), you already have THE biggest seat on the market, until the 30 pound, 32 inch Graco Safe Seat comes out this spring... maybe you can at least make it a couple more months in your Companion?
