Is it just me? I feel like such a dunce! I have a MA for DS, and occasionally have to put it into my parents' or my sister's car. Both of their cars have LATCH (parents have 2004 Lexus SUV, sister has 2004 Land Rover Discovery) and every time I try to attach to the LATCH anchors FF, I have to turn the buckle upside-down (so that the red buttons are facing the inside toward the seat). I get a good solid click, and can still tighten the belts to get a really snug fit. What am I doing wrong?

I've found with our BV's that if you kinda keep the entire latch clip flush against the seat and slide it onto the metal hooks while compressing the seat it snaps on easier.

And the answer is...on page 21 :)... You have to actually re-route the LATCH belts along the entire length of the black bar so that they are 'right side up' (check for that little 'this side up' embossed on the clip, OR the big white 'driver's side only' sticker on one of them). They just come from the factory set up for rearfacing, and to make them upright without twisting them, they have to trade sides.

And don't forget you can't use LATCH in the center of those cars, only the window seats.

**embarrassed sigh**

I knew it had to be something simple!

Thanks, Julie! You are always such a big help! :)
