Do you have a Britax Baby Safe Infant Seat

Anyone have one of these? Do you like it? What's w/ the foot stand thing? What stores, if any, carry these? Would sure like to put it in the truck before speding 300!!

A friend of mine had one and LOVED it, till the base broke...and they couldn't repair it or replace it (sent her some covers for her other seats in exchange, lol), and she bought another one, and it broke, too... now they are discontinued and sold for $199 if you shop around. She really loved the seat, though, but apparantly they just couldn't get over those base issues. You'd have to call around to nicer baby stores in your area...even litte mom n pop stores might carry them, but not be listed on the Britax site, and that's the only way you'll find one.

I found plenty of them online.........now mention of them being discontinued though!! And, they're all listing for 299!
