Hi,

I was looking at a link you put in another post showing the correct rf belt path under the covers of a MA: http://photobucket.com/albums/y255/joolstag/?action=view&current=DCP00309.jpg

It is ia great pic but there is way more stuff under the cover of my BVs.There is all sorts of belts/webbing with buckle things on the ends that get in my way when installing the seats. Are they latch connectors and in any case where can i tuck them away? I couldnt differentiate between them and my seatbelt at some points yeserday!

Also, do you have to keep those huggs things on? They really get in the way.

We reisntalled in our car as best we could. I think we need some rubber mats or something on the leather. We tethered them to the base of the front seats so that helped but the bases are still a bit slippy.I am happier though now than with the first installs. We also moved the front seats back to press against the car seats.

Thanks,

Lynn

Ah...there's another picture I have posted that shows the LATCH connectors tucked into their own little pockets in the sides of the cover, too :) (it's picture 307). http://photobucket.com/albums/y255/joolstag/
You can take the HUGS off for rearfacing, but they MUST be back on for FF (I agree, they are kind of a pain...I take the harness and belly pads off, too...the less, the better, I think).

You can try some rubber shelf liner under the bases if you want to... usually you just have to put more elbow grease (and leverage, and just repeated practice, mainly) into the install, but even so, up to a full inch of movement side to side or front to back at the belt path is totally acceptable (we get admonished a lot in our CPS class not to use superhuman strength and seats don't need to be rock solid, believe it or not).
