View Full Version : Are the Boulevard crotch straps that troublesome?

I've read a lot about how the crotch straps on the Boulevard are not adjustable and can be problematic for babies with fat thighs. Is it that bad? I'm leaning toward the BV over the DC because I like the adjustable knobs for the shoulder harness but am wondering if the crotch will be a problem for my daughter since she's got fat thighs. I don't remember having any problems with the Advantage that we used for our son, so I'm wondering if the BV crotch straps would be any worse than the Advantage.

Nah...if you were fine with the Advantage, the BV probably won't bother you. The BV is even the same as the MA, and really, that causes problems for VERY few kids (and half of those problems I suspect are parents trying to get the straps too tight over the torso...they ONLY should be tested for tightness at the shoulder, otherwise even skinny thighs get squished).
