I have narrowed down my choices to these two infant car seats. I've read reviews and both have their pros and cons. I have to have a c-section, so I like the weight of the Combi...but I like the Chicco brand better and the installation looks amazing.

Please help me decide!

I've gotten to play with both for a while and the Chicco is a simpler seat overall--in the way the harness is routed on the back of the seat, the installation of the base, setup, manual, etc. I like both, so I guess I'm not much help, lol. Can you touch both of them and feel the fabrics? Can you hold them and feel the handles? Those things are make or break items for a lot of folks.

Remember that your recovery from the c-section will only take a few weeks and hopefully you'll be using the infants seat for much longer than that, so don't buy based on what you think you'll need for the first few weeks. You can always take the baby out of the car seat and use a stroller if the seat is too heavy at first.

HTH!

I have and really like both (still haven't installed my Key Fit...I should be ashamed!)...the Combi is definitely lighter, but like Heather says, you won't be recovering for the entire 9-12 months, and can just carry the baby at first (try a sling that holds the baby up really high, maybe? I'm sure there's a C-section board or sling board that has the answer...).
I think the Key Fit will last longer, it's a little bigger/deeper. I'll probably only use my Combi for traveling/other people's cars, since it has the nicest 'install without the base' belt guides by far.
