Carseat tray?

My son asked me yesterday if I could get him a tray for his carseat like the one on his sister's highchair so he could do his artwork on long car trips? Is there such a thing that would work on the MA and is it safe? Thanks!

Hard plastic trays are not recommended, but this one looks ok if you can find it.

I haven't seen it in person but it says is is collapsible foam. If it really is soft and collapsable, then I think it would be fine too.

Otherwise, some moms have used a foam kickboard like you'd use for swimming. He'd have to hold it on his lap though.
