2005 vs. 2006 Primo Viaggio

Is there anyone who knows if the newer model is significantly different? I'm mostly interested in the safety features. I'm trying to get my hands on one of the newer ones, but I can't find the color I want, so I'm considering a 2005 model. Any advice?

HUGE difference...the 2005 is tiny tiny tiny (outgrown commonly at 3-6 months...maybe some super-petite kids can be squooshed into it till a year, but not many), the 2006 is much bigger, designed for side impact protection, and can be installed without the base (a nice convenience feature so you don't *have* to spend like $70 on a second base).
The Chicco Key Fit, Combi Connection, and Britax Companion and Graco Safe Seat all have similar safety features now, so no real need to fork over $229 for a Peg.
