Suburban car seat Question

Is it safe to put a car seat in the 3rd row of a Suburban? My DH and I are debating whether to put my DD's car seat in the very back (he says NO WAY!) and have the new baby in a captain's seat in the second row. Any insight would be helpful.

I think it should be ok. There should be something specific in your manual about it.
