Hello,

I was surfing online and I saw some really cute handmade covers for the roundabout and marathon convertible carseats. Are they safe to use? And if they are, would anyone know where I could get one for a good price? They seem to run pretty pricey. . . like the lexie rose ones for over $90!!

TIA,
Sylvia

I personally would never use one. The Britax covers are manufactured and tested with the seats to prevent flamability, excessive wear, etc. We know these covers hold up and these are the ones that are waranteed.

Custom "homemade" covers may not stand up to all that wear and tear and they may render your Britax warranty void in the event of a crash.

Thanks Deb,

I appreciate the input. . . I was toying with the idea 'cause the covers just looked so boring and drab but safety definitely comes first!
