Snugride Height Limit

Lachlann is over 26 inches, but his head is well below the top of the carseat (more than 1 inch). His feet are definitely right at the bottom, if not past.

Is it okay to keep using it, or do I need to switch to a convertible? The snugride is so easy with both kids, I really don't want to switch if I don't have to.

As long as there is more than 1" of shell above his head, he's fine.

I agree with Margaret. Don't worry about the feet, the important one is the torso (i.e. the head has 1 inch clearance below the top of the seat). DS was in his Snugride until he was 4 months old, and it was definitely more of a pain for me to change to a convertible car seat (DS tends to sleep in moving vehicles).
