Do you have the built-in "toddler seat" in your car? I was wondering if you have any information regarding if they are safe to use still (or if they ever were!) My parent's have a '96 or '97 wagon and if it can be used in place of a booster when DS is older, I'd love to not have to reinstall whenever he stays at Grammy and Grampy's! Thank you. :0)

Yes, I have one, but it is broken and I can't get the thing to open. It uses the middle seat belt and I believe it is rated from 50 lbs. My manual is in the car and its dark out, but I will edit this post if I have the weight wrong tomorrow. Anyway, you won't want to use it until your DS is big enough and old enough to sit in a booster. It is certainly safe and makes a great booster for the occassional ride with the grandparents.
