best config. for FF Roundabout and Snugride in CRV?

We currently have DS in the middle seat as I'd read that was the safest. I love having him there, SO easy for me to hand him things if necessary, etc. But I'm guessing the Snugride won't fit right next to it, does it? Also, not sure if DS will try to touch or play with the new one if they're right next to eachother.

So in this case, would I most likely put DS behind the passenger seat (so I could at least reach him if need be) and the infant behind me?

Suggestions?

They *might* fit next to each other...at least try (???). But yeah, I had the same car when my kids were that age, and I truly found it easiest to have the infant behind me, toddler behind the passenger, so I could hand him stuff (I think they were safer separated, anyway...god knows what kinds of 'love' a 2 yo will bestow on a newborn, you know, like fingers in eyes and stuff, lol).
