DS is an an older husky. I am thinking of getting him a newer seat. He is almost 7, weights about 45lbs, and has a VERY long torso. Can you tell me the differences between the decathalon, the regent, and his old husky?

thanks

The Regent is the same shell as the Husky. The Decathalon is a convertible seat, just like the Marathon with a few extra features and pillows. Frankly the Decathalon does not make a whole lot of sense for your son's age since the weight limit is 65 pounds and the Regent/Husky will get you to 80 pounds.

The Regent/Husky also has higher harness slots than the Decathalon. SO you will get more life out of it.

If you really want a new seat, the Regent would be what I would pick.
