So, I'm seeing in various posts that it may be possible to get a center RF install if the degree of the recline is slightly more upright.

My question, and sorry if I'm asking it sort of vaguely...what range is a safe recline? And, at what age is it ok?

DD will be 4 months this week...we'll probably try to move her to the Britax within the next few weeks and would like to try to fit a larger Britax in the car, if possible.

TIA!

It should be no less than 30 degrees and no more than 45 degrees, that's what I was taught in class.

You can install it more upright as soon as your baby has good head control, it all depends on your baby.

Big Britax seats fit in a surprising array of small vehicles, so I wouldn't worry. The rear-facing tether allows you to customize the recline angle perfectly and Britax also allows you to brace the top of the carseat shell against the front vehicle seat(s).
