I'm using my sit n stroll forward facing on our next plane trip. Not sure if seat tray will fold out over the car seat (1st class). Has anyone ever used any of these add on trays? It'd be great to have a place for DD to put her toys and snacks.

Hi. Of the 3 you have listed, I think the best would be the 3rd option (the nylon one). I don't know about 1st class seats, but I know that in coach, those airplane trays won't sit down over a car seat because the car seat sits up too high (except for the Sunshine Kids Radian). The advantages to the 3rd tray are the high rim around the edges and that it's soft.

I think it depends on the airline and the seat. I used a Graco Comfortsport when we flew to Singapore last year and the tray fit over the seat. We flew Singapore Airlines.

I have taken my Chase on several differernt planes and I would say that 3 out of four of the tray worked with her seat because it is low, like the Radian. I would say that you have a good chance of any low-sitting seat working, but there is no way a seat with a base would work because they are just too tall.

Hi,

I had flown with RegalRide, which is like Touriva and Scenera, and the trays don't completely lay flat on top of the seat, but it was bearable. We flew economy, on American Airlines, domestic and international.

Mine's a girl. Kiran is a traditional Indian name for a girl (we're Indian). It means "ray of light" in Indian. I always loved the name, since I was a kid, so I was happy to have a girl and be able to name her Kiran! :)

I have the Twingles one and it does not work with any of my car seats. You have to have a level surface for it to sit on. I have taken my sit 'n stroll on Delta and the tray table does not go down enough

I would also go with choice # 3 because it's flexible. I also saw one at BRU when I was there over the weekend near the stroller & car seats that might be a good choice as well. I don't remember the brand name but it was one of those that has the little pillow/cushion under the tray that feels sort of like a bean-bag and the top tray part was a semi-hard but flexible surface similar to your choice #3. I could easily bend it with my hand. It also had a lip around the edge to catch runaway toys/crayons. The only down side was the surface area was a little on the small side but that I'm sure is so it will sit on the lap between the sides of the car seat.

Sorry I can't provide you with a link but I thought I would mention it anyway! I did a quick search and did find this site which looks like it also has some interesting options: http://www.familyonboard.com/car_seat_travel_trays.html

I just saw this at BRU today. It's made by Fisher Price.

Thanks for all the great advice. wish I was able to go check out the one at BRU but don't have the time. Might go with #3 though. If I do, I'll let you all know how it works.
