Do they all sit up as high?

I mean the Marathon, Decath, Blvd? Do the bases come off? I would like to get one for my granddaughter (FF) for her mom's car (a Lexus) but they seem to sit up so high.

The base for these carseats are not removable. The babes would probably like sitting high so they can see around, instead of having their views obstructed with vehicle's seats.

I also think with the base higher up and small, it allow these seats to fit in almost all cars, unlike other carseats with lower and/or bigger bases that might not fit in tight spaces or sbs with other carseat(s)

I found my dd in the MA got her head bonked on the doorframe more than my ds in the Husky, so yeah, you're right, they are pretty high (on the flipside, that gives the kids more legroom, IMO, since they use the front of the seat cushion as a footrest...). I'd look at the Regent, Radian, or Apex...those are all nice and low :) (of course they all have their issues, I won't get into that, you know them... )
