Please respond asap. Need to get it clean and dry as quickly as I can since this is my only car seat and cover.

Yep, I've washed it on gentle with no ill effects.

Be careful about drying it in the machine, though. You don't want to ruin the elastic.

technically you should use Ivory Snow or Dreft to wash it so that you don't destroy the anti-flammable coating on it (assuming it is similar to the coating used on children's pajamas). And don't use fabric softener.

I've washed mine on gentle. I usually let it air dry for as long as possible before using the dryer. It actually drys pretty quickly.

I've washed several times in the washing machine. I usually use less than a tablespoon of detergent. I air dry.
