Hi!

We just bought a Town & Country mini van to cart the kids around, and my back has been killing me ever since we bought it. The kids and my husband find it very comfortable. The car seats also fit great. We have cloth seats and they are comfortable to everyone but me. Any ideas for a back support that may help? I know a lot of you probably drive these too! On-line I saw a neat looking support called a Moller Back Support, but I am kind of leary about ordering it sight unseen. Any feedback would be great. How ironic that I spend my whole life making sure the kids have comfortable car seats and I'm the one that ends up with a sore back. Thanks...you guys are the best! :)

It is ironic that you posted this, since we have had one of these from motor pool at work several times over the last 6 months and all of my co-workers and I agree that it has the *most* uncomfortable seats of any minivan. We picked one up again today and everyone groaned! I understand that the rear seats need to be smaller and have less padding for the Stow N Go, but even the driver and front passenger seats are uncomfortable to me.

We had a Sienna last week and it was SOOOO much nicer.

I had the same problem in my Honda CR-V. I bought one of these:

Thanks for the help. Did you have success with this? How fat is it? I've had trouble finding lumbar supports that are not really fat and uncomfortable. I am kind of leaning towards a full back padded support of some kind. I just don't know. I hope I get some more feedback. Thanks again!!

Lindsey,

The support in the link I posted is not that fat. It's actually quite a compact little thing. Also, it is inflatable and therefore adjustable in terms of thickness and support. You can even deflate it, roll it up, and take it with you in another car, on an airplane, etc.
