car seat sticky

Hey guys.

I asked Marisa if she would give us a car seat 101 sticky, and she said she would. Woo hoo!

Anyway, I thought we should make one for the questions that get asked very often. I am thinking things like:

Are mats safe under sar seats?
Where do RF kids put their legs?
What is the difference between MA/BV/DC?
What is the best low priced convertible?
Where do I tether a RF britax?
Why is RF better?
What is the best booster?
Which combo seats have the highest top slots?

etc etc etc.

She told me to work on it with Julie (hi Julie!) but I figure everyone should just compile the info and I will get it to her to have a sticky made.

Any other suggestions?

Great idea!

How about a sub post "Read this before asking what car seat you need" with a list of info needed for people to make suggestions (age, weight, height, RF/FF, other DCs or plans for DCs, car year/make/model, special circumstances - Canada, for example)

Other questions:

What seats are available in Canada?

Do I really need an infant seat?

What seats go past 40 lbs?

Why is a large convertible more economical in the long run?

How can I fit three across?

What is the best travel seat?

Good idea! It might be later next week till I personally have time to help out (spring break and easter and grandpa visiting), but go ahead and search for past posts on the subjects that may already have all the answers written out. If it's mine, feel free to copy and paste (and edit if necessary).
