Cosco Scenera - Am I Just a Wimp?

I purchased the Scenera to be used as our travel carseat/use in our second car.

I hooked up the Latch clips and tried to tighten it. Am I just a wimp in that I can't tighten this darn seat? Everything is hooked up correctly, but I can't make the seat tight! How does everyone else do it? Do you have your husbands tighten the car seats or is there some trick to make it tight when you're not strong?

Try kneeling in the seat. If that doesn't work, there was a thread about 3 or 4 weeks ago that had some video with it detailing how to install a Scenera. It was really good. Lemme see if I can find it.

Yes, this video of installing the Touriva (similar to Scenera) is wonderful. Especially note the part where she lifts up the cover to pull the Latch strap up and through the side. Made all the difference for me!

Thanks! That video was perfect (I assume there was no sound?) Pulling the LATCH belt through the slot made all the difference for me too.

I'm telling you, that video so helps describe how to tighten the latch... cause otherwise, not everyone understands the words "reach through the beltpath"
