View Full Version : Marathon lock-down broke...

My impatient and non-direction reading DH snapped off one of the lock down levers on our Marathon (where the shoulder seat belt strap goes through the side of the unit) when we were installing our car seats into Grandma's SUV.

Since it's always installed via LATCH in our own car, I'm not too worried about it, but I was wondering if that is a piece that can be somehow replaced? Figured I'd ask here first as Britax sometimes takes a while to reply.

TIA,
Jennifer

Britax will replace them for free. I'm pretty sure they can just mail you new locking clips.

Give them a call and they'll send you a new one. They will need some info off your seat, though, so make sure you're on the cordless phone or write it down before you call. They need the date of manufacture and the serial number off the sticker.

Thanks for letting me know that. Would have been in trouble if I'd called while the kids were awake and had to trek out to the garage to get that info.!
