I just figured out that I should be tethering my RF Marathon. I tried it today. It is at a 45 degree angle (paper test on video). It is really reclined for my 14mo DD, way, way more than it was before. Should it be this far back? The tether strap is pulled almost as tight as I could get it. Is this too much?

Thank you so much!

no, that's for a newborn... for an older baby, it can be as upright as she likes.

so the tether strap doesn't need to be tight?

The tether should not have slack in it. Install the seat at the angle that you like and then attach the tether and make it tight enough that there is no slack, but not so tight that it is making the seat recline.

Did that make sense?
