I have a 28-month-old currently FF in a Wizard. My 6-month-old is currently in a Snugride, but when he outgrows it, he will move to the Roundabout that is currently in DH's car. I want to get another seat to replace the one in DH's car. The kids do not ride in his car very often, only occassionally on weekends.

I haven't decided if I want to splurge for another Britax, but in the event that I do, can anyone briefly educate me on these newer models that I have seen mentioned on the boards lately (i.e. Decathalon, Boulevard)? We are hoping to have more kids, so perhaps I should get a seat to which my 28-month-old can move, like a convertible/booster? I don't really know much about boosters, so forgive me if there is no such thing.

Also, in case we decide to go a less expensive route for our "extra" seat, any recommendations? I should also mention that I drive a '95 Nissan Maxima (no LATCH, no side airbags), but expect to get another car in the next year or so (either a minivan or 3rd row SUV).

Thanks!

How much does your older child weigh? Do you need one seat for each child for your husbands car or just one seat?

Thanks

The older child weighs about 31 pounds. 6-month-old is under 15 pounds. I think we will only have one seat in DH's car since he usually only takes the older one out to run errands and such.
Thanks!

well, the fisher Price Safe voyage Deluxe would get you all the grow room, but 100 dollars cheaper because of no built-in lockoffs, less easy recline, and no rearfacing tether.

I would get that for the second seat if you don't want to buy another regular Britax.
